831 Rockland was erected at the turn of the 1900s and housed a major telephone exchange, owned by Bell Canada. The building then underwent a first transformation to become the Stanislas College for 4 years, from 1938 to 1942. In 1942, the building was converted into residences for the Reverend Dominican Fathers. Finally, in 2012, the promoter Demonfort chose to undertake major renovations to convert the building into the current luxurious residential complex following to plans of Forme Studio Morand Émond Architectcs firm.
